Silicon Valley Community Foundation decided to dedicate resources to creating this resource after learning from local nonprofits that they were unable to identify consultants who have experience in and expertise working with communities of color. The community foundation began working with Center for Excellence on the vision for this resource in 2021, as the entity to own and manage the directory.

This directory is offered to support Silicon Valley nonprofit organizations as a tool. This tool will allow organizations to search and identify expert consultants. The consultants listed on this site have been validated but not vetted. Information collected on the Consultant Profile page has been carefully designed so that users can identify consultants that are a good fit.
